WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is any information about you. It can be things like your name and what year you’re in.

HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED? 

When your teachers create an account with us to share your essays, we may ask for your Email Address, Year Level, Class, School, School Group and where you log in from.

Your teachers should check your handwritten essays to make sure they do not contain any personal data about you before you submit them to us. 

Before you upload any of your handwritten essays to us, you should check with your teacher that they don’t include any personal information. Have you done this?

Once you submit your handwritten essays, they go to OpenAI who use AI technology to change your handwriting into digital text and pass it back to us to use in our AI assessment and feedback.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA 

We will only use this information so that we can successfully upload your essays to our website and process them through our AI assessment and analysis tool.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL DATA  

We won’t share any information about you to other people or businesses unless we have to by law.
