Olex is committed to ensuring our platform is accessible to all users, including teachers and school staff who may have disabilities or access needs. We want everyone who uses Olex to be able to navigate the platform, upload and review work, and access feedback with ease.
Olex is primarily used by teachers and school staff, who upload student work for assessment and review feedback. In most cases, students do not need to access the platform directly, as their work can be submitted on their behalf by a teacher. Where students do interact with the platform directly to upload their own work, the same accessibility commitments outlined in this statement apply.
We are currently working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We have not yet completed a formal accessibility audit, so we cannot confirm our current level of conformance. This statement will be updated as testing and remediation work progresses. The same standard applies to our marketing website at olex.ai, which we are working towards in parallel.

Beyond WCAG conformance, Olex’s feedback and assessment features are also designed with inclusivity in mind. Including adaptable feedback levels and translation options to support learners with SEND or EAL. These features are part of the platform’s core design and are separate from the technical accessibility work described above.
