We’ve completely rebuilt our handwriting engine from the ground up to ensure that OlexReader and SnapSnap are the most reliable tools in your classroom. The new Olex engine delivers 98% accuracy, virtually eliminating the need for manual corrections.
Workflow Updates
Sharing assignment templates
- Create templates of assignments that you use regularly. These can be shared with colleagues across your school or trust.
Student passwords re-sets
- Teachers can now generate individual and whole class passwords and log-ins.
Generating QR code from classes screen
- Download and print QR codes directly from the class admin screen.
Scanning improvements
- StackScan now accepts completely blank and lined blank pages.
- Warnings are now shown if uploaded images are too small or low quality.
Easier Uploads
- You can open SnapSnap directly from your assignments dashboard.
- Faster access to SnapSnap from the top of your assignment details screen.
New feedback Word export option
- Teachers can now generate feedback directly into a Word document, for easier manipulation and distribution of feedback to students.
Moderation of inappropriate content
- Teachers will receive on screen notifications when student essay content is flagged. It doesn't restrict any actions, it is informational only.
- Student essays on sensitive subjects will no longer be blocked.
Rubric Updates
Tailored marking for different learning profiles
- Our new Learning Profile tagging feature helps teachers tailor marking to a student’s academic target, automatically.
Additional success criteria
- Teachers can now add Additional Success Criteria when setting up assignments, to provide additional focus for student feedback.
